Julie Middleton is an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the psychiatric field. Her experience includes psychiatric inpatient, outpatient and emergency (CPEP) settings. Ms. Middleton obtained her Associate’s of Applied Science in Nursing in 2004 from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing in Syracuse, where she is currently employed as a full- time faculty member teaching psychiatric theory and clinical. She went on to obtain her Master’s of Science in Nursing from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse in 2013. In addition to her nursing degrees, she also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from SUNY Fredonia (1993) and a Master’s of Science Degree in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University (1997). Ms. Middleton specializes in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adults with a variety of psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and schizophrenia.
