Conditions Our Providers Treat:

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation

The first step in receiving the right help for a mental health concern is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Your psychiatric provider will take special care to gather the information needed to determine an appropriate diagnosis and develop an individualized treatment plan.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation

The first step in receiving the right help for a mental health problem is receiving a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We take special care in gathering the right information to determine the most likely diagnosis and most effective treatment.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy can help patients better understand and resolve problems, modify behaviors, and make positive changes in their lives. Our affiliated providers may incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a time-limited form of psychotherapy that focuses on identifying unhelpful patterns of thinking or behavior and developing healthier, more balanced responses.

Medication Management

Medication management is individualized to each patient’s unique needs, medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals. Your psychiatric provider can discuss whether medication may be appropriate for you and, when applicable, carefully review your current medications and medication history as part of your overall treatment plan.

Our affiliated psychiatric providers take a thoughtful approach to prescribing medication, carefully considering the potential benefits and risks for each patient. When clinically appropriate, medication may be used on its own or in combination with psychotherapy and other forms of treatment.

Medication Management

Because we deeply appreciate the uniqueness of each patients’ brain chemistry, we approach medication management as a science and an art.  Together we can explore if medication may be right for you.   If you are currently on medications and interested in transferring care we will carefully review your medication history to look for areas we can further optimize.

We take a conservative approach to prescribing medicine, and reserve this option only for instances where the potential benefits of treatment outweigh the risks. Some problems are so severe and persistent that they would have serious negative consequences for the patient and family if untreated, and psychotherapy may be more effective if combined with medication.

Neurocognitive or Neuropsychological Testing

Neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing can provide valuable information about cognitive functioning, behavior, and mental health. When clinically appropriate, these assessment tools may help your provider better understand your individual needs and inform treatment decisions.

Automate Quality Measures

Automate the collection of guideline recommended clinical and quality measures e.g., PQRS, recommended by professional societies and payers

Establish Neurocognitive Baseline

Establish a neurocognitive baseline in each patient to use in later treatment decisions.

Track Clinical Outcomes

Longitudinally track clinical endpoints to aid in the monitoring and management of many clinical conditions and treatments e.g., measure the response to treatment like AD/HD medication, rehabilitation efforts, cognitive behavioral therapy – CBT, etc. and used to measure clinical outcomes
