Joe Catroppa

Managing Partner & Co-Founder

Joe co-founded Dynamic Emotional Wellness with a vision of building a practice where providers are empowered to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional patient care. As Managing Partner, Joe helps guide the strategic growth of the organization while supporting the systems and operations that allow our clinical teams to thrive.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to excellence, Joe works behind the scenes to ensure DEW continues to grow thoughtfully while maintaining the personalized experience our patients and providers have come to expect.

When he’s away from the office, Joe enjoys golfing, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his wife, Marlo, and their four children in beautiful Daniel Island, South Carolina.

Taka Elkins

Managing Partner & Co-Founder

Taka co-founded Dynamic Emotional Wellness with a passion for creating an organization that supports both patients and providers through operational excellence.  He oversees business operations, payer contracting, credentialing, finance, technology, and strategic growth initiatives across the practice.

Taka believes that exceptional mental health care begins with a strong operational foundation.  Whether developing new provider partnerships, improving patient access, or building efficient systems behind the scenes, his goal is to remove administrative barriers so clinicians can focus entirely on delivering outstanding care.

When he’s not working, Taka enjoys endurance training, outdoor adventures, and spending time with his wife, Lissa, and their five children.  He is a proud IRONMAN finisher and calls Signal Mountain, Tennessee home.

Yuliya Brutsky

Billing Supervisor

Yuliya has been an integral part of Dynamic Emotional Wellness since the early days of our organization and was one of our very first team members.  She began her journey with DEW as a Front Desk Receptionist, where her professionalism, dedication, and commitment to exceptional patient service quickly made her an invaluable member of our team.  As DEW has grown, so has Yuliya, embracing her role as Billing Supervisor with excellence and becoming a vital part of our continued success.

Today, Yuliya leads our billing department with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.  She oversees insurance billing, claim resolution, payment posting, and patient account support, helping ensure our billing processes remain efficient, transparent, and patient focused.  Working closely with both insurance companies and patients, she is dedicated to resolving billing questions promptly while helping patients better understand their financial responsibilities.

Outside of work, Yuliya enjoys spending time with her daughter and is excited to be welcoming a new addition to her growing family.

Lelani Herman

Client Intake Specialist

Lelani joined Dynamic Emotional Wellness in September 2025 and quickly became an indispensable member of our team.  While her official role is Client Intake Specialist, she has embraced countless responsibilities beyond the front desk and has become the organizational heartbeat of our daily operations.  Her willingness to jump in wherever needed, exceptional work ethic, and positive attitude have made her a trusted resource for both our patients and our team.

As one of the first friendly voices patients hear when contacting Dynamic Emotional Wellness, Lelani guides new patients through the intake process, scheduling, insurance verification, and onboarding, making what can often feel overwhelming a smooth, welcoming, and reassuring experience.  She also plays an integral role in supporting day to day office operations, serving as an unofficial office manager and helping keep our practice running efficiently behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Lelani is the proud mother of her son and enjoys connecting with people, which is one of the reasons she also works as a server in her spare time. Her dedication, energy, and genuine care for others make her an invaluable part of the Dynamic Emotional Wellness family.

Linda Pollock

Financial Data Specialist

Linda joined Dynamic Emotional Wellness after an accomplished career as a Financial Controller with Xerox, bringing decades of financial leadership and analytical expertise to our organization. What began as an opportunity for meaningful part time work has evolved into an essential role supporting the continued growth and success of DEW.

Linda is responsible for preparing and analyzing provider compensation reports, ensuring every dollar is accurately accounted for while delivering financial reporting that is transparent, organized, and easy to understand. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy provide our providers with confidence and clarity while helping leadership make informed business decisions.

As Dynamic Emotional Wellness continues to grow, Linda’s experience, professionalism, and financial expertise have become invaluable to our organization. Her work behind the scenes plays a critical role in ensuring our financial operations remain accurate, scalable, and built for long term success.

Outside of work, Linda cherishes time with her family and has fully embraced one of life’s greatest blessings, becoming a grandmother. She also enjoys traveling, spending time with her beloved dog, and balancing the joys of retirement while continuing to make a meaningful impact at Dynamic Emotional Wellness.

Amy Garofalo

Client Intake Specialist

Amy joined Dynamic Emotional Wellness at an exciting time in our organization’s growth and expansion. As the newest member of our administrative team, she has hit the ground running, bringing professionalism, compassion, and a wealth of experience to every patient interaction. Her addition has strengthened our ability to provide exceptional service while continuing to grow without compromising the personalized experience our patients expect.

Prior to joining DEW, Amy served as a Clerical Supervisor for more than 30 years, developing exceptional organizational, administrative, and customer service skills. Today, she works closely with new and returning patients, assisting with scheduling, insurance verification, and the intake process while helping create a welcoming and seamless experience from the very first phone call.

Amy’s transition to Dynamic Emotional Wellness was especially meaningful, as she has been longtime friends with one of our founding providers, Julie Middleton. Her familiarity with our culture, combined with her decades of experience and genuine passion for helping others, made her a natural fit for our team.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends and brings the same warmth, kindness, and dedication to her personal life that she shares with our patients every day.
