Insurance and Payment Options
At Dynamic Emotional Wellness, we aim to keep billing straightforward and transparent. Below is an overview of the insurance plans we currently accept and how billing is handled.
In-Network Insurance Billing
We are in network and bill directly for the following commercial insurance plans:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Commercial Plans
- BCBS Medicare & Exchange/Medicaid Plans
- Aetna Commercial Plans
- MVP Commercial Plans
- Univera
- Univera Medicare & Exchange/Medicaid Plans
**** Important Information for New York Patients****
You may see Hughes and Middleton NP in Psychiatry Group PLLC listed on insurance EOBs, invoices, statements, or other billing documents. This is our affiliated New York professional practice through which insurance claims for New York patients are submitted and processed.

Headway-Managed Insurance Billing
For some insurance plans, we partner with Headway, a third-party billing platform that manages insurance verification, billing, and claims. If you have one of the following plans, you will be onboarded through Headway for billing purposes:
- UnitedHealthcare Commercial Only
- UMR Commercial Only
- Cigna Commercial Only
Self-Pay Rates
If you do not wish to use insurance or are not covered by an in-network plan, we offer straightforward self-pay rates:
- Initial Evaluation (60 minutes): $275
- Follow-Up Visits (30 minutes): $165
- Follow-Up Visits (20 minutes): $138
- Neurocognitive Testing (60 minutes): $300
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA cards.
Insurance Plans We Do NOT Accept
At this time, we do NOT accept the following:
- Straight Medicare (Red, White, and Blue Card)
- Straight Medicaid (including TennCare)
- Fidelis
- The Empire Plan
- Health Insurance Marketplace/Exchange Plans (WE DO accept BCBS and Univera Exchange plans)
